Elite Stealth handlebars are the lightest-weight, carbon-fiber
handlebars designed specifically for BMX racing. Available in three
sizes- Mini, Junior and Expert—they feature all-carbon construction and
multi-tapered walls throughout. Our unique design and manufacturing
process result in handlebars with maximum strength and minimal weight.
Thicker walls are spec’d where added strength is needed, such as at the
bends and clamp area. Thinner walls in less stressed areas keep the
weight low. The Mini and Junior bars have eight wall thickness changes
while the Expert bars have 10 due to the addition of a crossbar. In
addition, the Expert bars have variably shaped tubing profiles, further
boosting strength and rigidity. The bars weigh in at just 152 grams for
the Mini, 164 grams for the Junior and 240 grams for the Expert. Due to
the nature of the material, rider weight limits of 100, 115 and 135
pounds are necessary. Each bar is finished with a high-gloss clear coat
and chrome and white graphics. To keep the bars in place, they have a
high-friction anti-slip coating at the clamp area.
